Catharina Evens is a Belgian artist who focuses on two main areas of her work. As an electro-acoustic pianist, she combines improvisation and composition with live electronics, incorporating elements such as playfulness and her classical piano background, along with a range of sounds that span from everyday noises to complex sound gestures.

In addition to her work as a pianist, Catharina is also an interdisciplinary sound artist. She creates interactive sound performances and installations that explore non-verbal connections through themes of game, movement, and space. She values collaboration and often engages in interdisciplinary projects.

During her residency at KRA, Catharina concentrated on refining her electro-acoustic piano solo performance. On April 4th, she shared her work at KRA's Open Stage, where she received audience feedback following her performance.
