Because I love you

Welcome to an extraordinary evening with puppet theater for adults with the local group Skromlehjulet Figurteater: A puppet theater that has kept the wheels going since 1996.

Skromlehjulet has spesial competence in puppet animation and creates great laughter with its funny stories. Because I love you has won several awards at international festivals for its qualities.

Because I love you!

Alfred has been abandoned by his girlfriend Rose, and is now sitting alone, missing her. What went wrong?

Maybe he did not say he loved her often enough? Maybe he should have done more  body fitness to impress her, used a better perfume or become more macho. When you least expect it, it can be a coincidence that turns the whole tragedy of love into a surprise.

What to expect? 

Two puppet players, a table and a puppet. Rich sound and hot music! You will see detailed puppet animation, seasoned with lots of humor and features. Alfie arouses empathy, while at the same time we chuckle at his dramatic appearance and his characteristic type that is strongly reminiscent of the clown. The performance has few spoken words, which will be in English.

About Skromlehjulet Puppet Figurteater : Skromlehjulet Figurteater is a free theater group based in Stavanger. We have worked with puppet theater productions since 1996, and produced new shows almost every year. Skromlehjulet has been seen by numerous people, and has been a great pleasure for day care and schools, as well as holiday arrangements in the city, the districts and the rest of the country. Skromlehjulet have also shown their performances at international festivals of puppet theater in 11 different countries. Skromlehjulet Figurteater is working with a visually expressive style of theater.
