Songs of the Seedlings - Artist in residency sharing

"Songs of the Seedlings" is a journey of musician and field recordist Atul Giri into the sonic environments of some of the remotest and rarely heard regions of the world. Each sonic environment forms a part of the listening of the humans who inhabit them.

The first chapter focuses on Argentina, bringing together sounds from the northern provinces of Jujuy and Salta and the eastern delta of Tigre on the Paraná River in Buenos Aires. These recordings also inspire the music compositions and the live improvisations from Atul heard in the exhibition performance.
