Workshop: Creative Contact Improv

2 day creative contact improv workshop for professional performers. In this workshop you will get time and space to move, connect and create with other professionals.

Day one “With ease” Saturday 25th Nov: 14.00 - 16.00 You will get a two hour practical walkthrough of how Olaf runs contact improv. With a sense of ease, you will mainly work in pairs but also solo.

Day two “Getting Creative” Sunday 26th Nov: 13.00 - 16.00 This is where we will get creative and look at making short solo pieces and connecting them with contact improvisation in groups.

There will be coffee and fruit in the breaks.

The workshop is brought to you by Olaf Leiros Galicki. Olaf is an actor, theater maker and teacher. He has a master's degree in physical actor training from the University of Kent and PPU in practical and performing arts from Universitetet i Stavanger. As an actor, Olaf has worked on stage and in film, with the Michael Chekhov technique, as well as with 'Devising' techniques.

The workshops intent is not only to give you a space to move, and practice but also to form connections between professional performers, teachers and artists in Rogaland who work with performance in some or other way. So, let’s join to create a workshop network where we can move together and share our knowledge.
